Jennifer is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive psychoanalytic training and comprehensive experience working as a psychotherapist in both private practice and in outpatient mental health clinics. She has worked as a practitioner in the mental health and social services for over 10 years working extensively treating adolescents, adults and couples. She has a private practice in psychotherapy with an office centrally located near Union Square.
Jennifer is an alumnus of New York University Silver School for Social Work and is affiliated with the Stephen Mitchell Center for Relational Studies. In addition to having studied at The Psychoanalytic Training Institute, Manhattan Institute, Ackerman Institute, the William Alanson White Institute, and National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP).
In addition to Jennifer's graduate education, training and experience as a clinical social worker and psychotherapist, Jennifer's undergraduate studies included degrees in both Philosophy, and Psychology. Jennifer was an AmeriCorps and New York City Teaching Fellow, and has extensive experience in the New York City classroom as a special education teacher working with children with emotional disturbances and learning difficulties. Jennifer has a MSeD in Childhood Development and Special Education.
Jennifer is also certified through St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital: Crime Victims Treatment Center as a rape crisis counselor and advocate for sexual assault survivors.
