Jennifer is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive psychodynamic and psychoanalytic training, as well as comprehensive experience working as a psychotherapist in outpatient mental health clinics, and in private practice. She has worked as a practitioner in the mental health field for over 15 years working extensively treating adolescents, adults and couples. She is currently licensed and practicing in Connecticut, Montana, and New York.

Jennifer is an alumnus of NYU Silver School for Social Work,  and is affiliated with the Stephen Mitchell Center for Relational Studies and National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP). In addition to having studied at The Psychoanalytic Training Institute, Manhattan Institute, Ackerman Institute, and William Alanson White Institute.

In addition to Jennifer's graduate education, training and experience as a clinical social worker and psychotherapist, Jennifer's undergraduate studies included degrees in both Philosophy, and Psychology.  Jennifer was an AmeriCorps and New York City Teaching Fellow, and has extensive experience in the New York City classroom as a special education teacher working with children with emotional disturbances and learning difficulties.  Jennifer has a MSeD in Childhood Development and Special Education from City University of New York.  

Jennifer is also certified through St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital: Crime Victims Treatment Center as a rape crisis counselor and advocate for sexual assault survivors.
